I like a simple cost free idea like a coupon book for favors (could be cook dinner, foot massage, alone time if you have kids, etc.)

Happy 5th anniversary!

I once sent my hubby a card via snail mail on each day of his birthday month :) You could maybe send your hubby 5 cards to represent each year!

One year I made my hubby a "matchbook" and each "match" was a coupon for something. Most were things like "50 kisses", or "a massage" - free things that I knew he'd appreciate. He STILL talks about that gift!

Wow now this is some celebration candy!! Count me in on these FUN goodies. I would love to try making some creative stuff with this.
I would for sure make something. To me it has more meaning, cuz you are making it from the heart.
Here are a few suggestions:
1. Wood, representing strength and a solidified relationship...make a frame or plaque with your pictures or saying on it.
Silverware, representing connectedness, are the traditional and modern gifts for your fifth wedding anniversary.. You could add silver to your gift.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for a chance.

Hi Collien! Congradulations on 5 years! I gave to many friends a pie on which from above there was a photo (it is printed on special edible sheet) and it was pleasant to all of them :)

I was rumaging around in a resale shop and found a beautiful old key with scroll work. Bought it, cleaned it up, made a box and lined it with velvet. Put a card in the box with a poem about the holder having the key to my heart. You'd think I gave him a million dollars!

Congrats on the 5 year anniversary! Mine is 5 times that! For that anniversary, I put all our still wedding pictures on a video and added music from the wedding or music I would have chosen. It started with pictures of us as babies and ended with our family today. It is fun to watch.

Thank you for the chance at blog candy.

I always love gifts that don't have to cost a lot: a movie-night just for the two of you, a fancy dinner (with candles and the works) right there at home.
I love to recieve this kind of gifts myself!

You can see the post on my blog about your candy here.

I once received a chocolate message by mail. It had a message written in chocolate (yummie). I think you can order it by the internet.

My husband loves cheesecake so I made him a cherry cheesecake. He also likes fishing equipment so a gift certificate in an altered tin would be nice too!
